South Pointe RV Park is a family owned and operated park/campground located on beautiful Lake Minnewaska, the 13th largest lake in Minnesota.

Kevin & Bev Anderson born & raised in Pope County.  Glenwood is a great community to live in and to raise their two sons.  We camped in our earlier years with the boys and really enjoyed our time together camping. Lots of memories....

Years ago we purchased an old farmsite with acreage and over 400' of private lakeshore.  Time goes by...what should we do.  Well... what a great opportunity for a RV Park - lots of acres to provide space, close to town, on tar, lake access what more do you need to relax. 

Kevin has spent countless hours in the landscaping at the park and lakeshore.  Pictures are great but seeing the park in person makes you really see the true colors of this one of a kind park/campground.  We have taken the time to listen to what people like and disliked about their experiences at campgrounds and put them into action at this park along with a few more to make it one of the best. 

Our spacious 50 acre park has just finished adding 12 park model sites with the 30 large (50’x160’) well maintained sites, all with a view overlooking Lake Minnewaska. Each site is maintained by an underground sprinkling system, has full hookups and a fire ring.  It is like having your very own lake lot without any of the maintenance or property tax!

Hiking paths and beautiful landscaping are all part of the uniqueness of South Pointe RV Park.  You can walk, or ride a golf cart to enjoy all the amenities we offer. 

Whether it be the over 400’ of private lakeshore with access where you can launch your boat on our private boat ramp (boat slips available), beach area, or our clubhouse/shelter where we offer horseshoes, shuffleboard, billiards, ping pong or any of the other games and forms of relaxation available.

Many people drive into Glenwood and they love the scenery.  When we are mowing we take the time to look and everytime it is "WOW WHAT A VIEW!"  We are lucky!!!
